Before you ship a sample back to us, please ensure that you have completed all the required steps, so that there is no delay in processing your sample:


1. Did you register your kit online?

2. Did you place the brown capped tube inside the rigid safety bag, and seal it?

3. Did you place the rigid safety bag inside the return mailer, and seal it?
 

Note: Your sample is stable in the mail for upwards of 4 weeks. If for any reason your sample is compromised when it reaches our lab, we will provide you with a new collection kit.



Shipping Samples from the U.K.


U.K. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Suggested return shipping for U.K. customers is below.


You may ship your samples via Royal Mail. There are two options to do this: 


  • Visit a post office. Click here for more information.  
  • Buy and print postage online. Click here for more information. 


Regardless of choice, a CN 22 customs form must be submitted with your shipment. This is included with your kit. U.K. customers are required to pay for return shipping.


U.K. - Post Office Guide


Please follow the steps below if you plan to visit post office and send the package.


  • Step 1 - Ensure your sample is sealed in the rigid safety bag, and this is sealed in the return envelope. Your return envelope should contain the following certificate of non-biological material - you should leave this in the envelope and send it along with your sample.

     
  • Step 2 - Sign the CN 22 customs form. 

  • Step 3 - Ask for the “International Standard” shipping option.

U.K. - Royal Mail Online Guide


Please follow the steps below if you are using the online method to buy and print your postage.


  • Step 1 - Ensure your sample is sealed in the rigid safety bag, and this is sealed in the return envelope. Your return envelope should contain the following certificate of non-biological material - you should leave this in the envelope and send it along with your sample.

     
  • Step 2 - Sign the customs form CN 22 in blue or black ink at the bottom.

  • Step 3 - Go to www.RoyalMail.com.
     
  • Step 4 - Click on “Buy and print postage”.


     
  • Step 5 - Click on “Get started now”
     

     
  • Step 6 - Enter Recipient Country. Enter USA for the Recipient Country and 100 grams for Item weight and click “Continue”.


     
  • Step 7 - Select “Small Parcel” from the options listed and click “Continue”.


     
  • Step 8 - Select Compensation amount “Up to £20” and choose “International Standard” as the shipping option and click “Continue”. Note: the price shown is only an example.
     

     
  • Step 9 - Enter the recipient details as follows, and click "Continue".

  • Step 10 - Add your own sender details and click “Continue”.
     

     
  • Step 11 - Review the “Summary & confirmation” to make sure all details were entered correctly. Select the confirmation regarding weight and that the item is not prohibited or restricted. Agree to the Terms and Conditions. Enter your email address if you would like to receive the confirmation. Click “Confirm & proceed to payment”.
